Terra-Cotta Napkin Rings
Sun-kissed terra-cotta tableware and neutral linens are a match made in dinner-party heaven. These napkin rings were sculpted from a few colors of no-bake air-dry clay.

Knead a plum-size piece of terra-cotta-colored air-dry clay and pea-size bits of white and gray (mixed from black and white) air-dry clay together to create a swirled effect.
Using a rolling pin, flatten the clay into a 1/4-inch-thick rectangle. Cut four 2-by-5-inch strips out of it. Overlap the edges, smooth the seams with your finger, and let dry upright (to help keep the shape).
