Painted Glass Vase
Glass paint is the key to giving the cluster of mismatched vessels you've collected a light-catching wash of color.

Cover work surface with newspaper. Combine glass paint and a little thinner. Pour about two tablespoons of the mixture into vase. Slowly tilt and spin vase to coat entire interior with paint mixture, then set vase upside-down on the opening of a cup or open pint container so its lip is suspended and the excess can drip out. Let dry completely, for at least a day.
Heat-set paint and make vase washable by baking it in the oven on a sheet at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
