Whether you live near or far, personalize a pillow in the form of a stamp to send someone a little love on February 14.

How to do it

Part 1

Step 1

Follow the project link to Design Space®. If you want to alter the project, click "Customize," then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes. Select "Mirror On," then click "Continue," or "Make It" from the project window.

Step 2

Cut a 12-by-12-inch piece of Iron-on material and place it backer-side down onto the StandardGrip mat.

Step 3

Follow the prompts to load the machine: Set SmartSet Dial to "Iron-on." Load Fine-Point Blade in Clamp B. Load Mat and press the Load/Unload button.

Step 4

Press the flashing "Go" button, and cut. Unload the mat. Remove the film from the cutting mat. Against a firm and protected surface, use the Weeder from the Basic Tool Set to remove the negative film from the backer (the film "positive" should remain on the backer). (Tip: Gently poke the material to lift or scrape away.)

Step 5

Repeat Steps 2-4 for the remaining mats.

Step 6

Assembly: Make sure all negative iron-on film is removed from the clear backer.

Step 7

Work in the same order as the designs appear in the Layers panel in Design Space, starting from the bottom layer, then working up.

Step 8

On one side of the pillow, apply each iron-on layer using a Cricut® EasyPress™ and EasyPress™ Mat. Follow the EasyPress™ Interactive Guide, for the recommended time and temperature settings. Or, use a household iron or heat press and a press cloth. (Note: For more information on using Cricut® iron-on material, check out the Help section at help.cricut.com.)
