Starbucks holiday red cups are officially back-but with a green twist.

All day today, November 2, when you buy a holiday beverage, you can snag it in a free, limited-edition reusable cup. That's right, treat yourself to those Peppermint Mochas and Egg Nog Lattes and you can choose from one of four festive designs: the cafe's signature holiday red (of course), a merry berry-and-holly print, an evergreen pattern, and a candy cane colored one. The best part? Starting November 3 to January 7, every time you visit a Starbucks after 2 p.m., have your cup in tow to save 50 cents off any grande holiday beverage. Talk about ringing in the new year with plenty of frothy caffeinated cheer.

If every American swapped in a reusable cup for their coffee or tea fix just once a day, we could help keep 23 pounds of waste out of landfills, per person, in one year.

This isn't the coffee chain's first step towards an eco-friendly world either. Earlier this year, Starbucks vowed to begin phasing out single-use plastic straws from all of its locations by 2020. They also announced the NextGen Cup Challenge in search of a global compostable cup solution to help fight single-use waste.

Every year, an estimated 100 billion disposable cups are sent to U.S. landfills. Not only is manufacturing a single paper cup responsible for 0.24 pounds of CO2 emissions, but because of their plastic lining inside, the majority of paper cups cannot be recycled.

But hurry, these cups are only available while supplies last! And if you aren't able to get your hands on one, don't worry-you can still BYOC to order your Gingerbread Latte as Starbucks offers a sweet 10 percent discount year round for patrons who use their own reusable mugs. Sip on.
