Meghan Markle's 'Cure-all' Beauty Product Just Happens to Be a Martha Favorite
Leave it to Meghan Markle - Duchess of Sussex, "Suits" alumna, and seasoned world traveler-to know what's worth shopping. From the comfiest heels that'll carry you through a full day of royal duties, to the perfect leather travel case that'll hold all of your essentials, the new Duchess has recommendations, and we're definitely taking notes.
So when she chatted with Allure about what she always packs in her carry-on, well, we couldn't not listen. Speaking with the publication back in 2014, Meghan admitted, "The one thing that I cannot live without when I'm traveling is a small container of tea tree oil. It's not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it's my little cure-all. It's inexpensive, it's small enough to carry on, and I bring it with me all the time."
She's not wrong. Tea tree oil is a cult favorite among the beauty set for its purifying properties, meaning it's great for targeting breakouts. Dab a small amount directly onto the acne spot/mosquito bite/cut using either your finger or a cotton swab and let the tea tree oil do its thing. It's also great as a natural cleaning product.
If you're looking to get in on Meghan Markle's "cure-all" beauty hack, then grab yourself a little bottle of The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil for just $10 - and bonus: it comes in a TSA-approved bottle so you, too, can take it with you on every trip.
