Part 1

Step 1

Design and cut rosettes: Follow the project link to Design Space®. If you want to alter the project, click "Customize," then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes. Click "Continue" or "Make It."

Place the first piece of cardstock onto the StandardGrip mat. Follow the prompts to load the machine: Set SmartSet Dial to "Cardstock." Load fine-point blade in Clamp B. Load mat and press the "Load / Unload" button.

Step 3

Press the flashing "Go" button, and cut! Unload the mat. Peel away the negative material, then if needed, use the spatula from the Basic Tool Set to lift the individual pieces.

Step 4

Continue Step 3 by loading the cutting mat with each new sheet of cardstock, then into the machine as prompted. Load the Scoring Stylus in Clamp A as prompted.

Step 5

Assemble: Accordion fold along the score lines of the rosette pieces. Adhere 6 pieces together to create one long piece.

Step 6

Create a cylindrical shape with the full piece and attach the ends to each other.

Gather the top of the cylinder to create a cone, then push flat down toward the table to create the rosette.

Step 8

Use hot glue to attach the scalloped piece in the center of the rosette. Repeat for the remaining pieces. 

Step 9

Layer and attached the rosettes to each other with hot glue to form a larger arrangement.

Step 10

Glue twine or hanging wire to the back of the arrangement in order to hang it on the wall, or glue the arrangement to a wooden dowel as a "spine," and hang from the dowel.
