This DIY idea comes from our contributor Anusha Rajeswaran. It's comprised of four main ingredients: sugar, coconut oil, green tea, and dried rose petals. Green tea isn't just for drinking—it has antioxidant properties that remove impurities and can improve dry skin. Organic white sugar gently exfoliates while coconut oil will hydrate and smooth your skin. Lastly, a little sprinkle of rose petals gives the scrub a soft floral aroma. Note: This scrub will keep for up to one year in a waterproof, airtight container.

  • 1/2 cup organic white sugar

  • Green tea bags

  • Dried rose petals

  • Mixing bowl

  • Glass jar

  • Craft stick

  • Rose essential oil (optional)

  1. Combine sugar, two to three green tea bags, and dried rose petals in a bowl.
