Splatter-Paint Ball Ornaments

A spritz of color gives these ornaments a playful feeling. Get the whole family involved: they make a fun kid-friendly holiday craft.

  • Clear ball ornaments

  • Paint palette

  • Disposable table covering

steps

  1. Tape off a diagonal section of an ornament with stencil tape.

  2. With a pouncer, paint the bottom section using Slate Gray paint; remove tape and let dry completely.

  3. Dip a brush into one of the other colors. Aiming at the ornament, hit the brush against another brush in a "cross" formation. Splatter until you achieve desired coverage.

  4. Repeat with a second color, then hang ornament to drip-dry.

  5. With the remaining colors, splatter another ornament with 2 colors, or continue the color-block and splatter combination.
