Watercolor Tote Bag with Tropical Leaves

Pack your bags for a summer getaway! This canvas carryall — perfect for the backyard, the beach, or somewhere farther off the map — is stenciled with a tropical-inspired all-over pattern of green monstera leaves.

steps

  1. Mix 2 parts paint with 1 part water for each color in separate bowls.
  2. Remove backing from the stencil and adhere the design onto the tote bag. Apply paint with the large watercolor brush, starting at the middle of the stencil and painting out toward the edges.
  3. Continue to stencil the entire surface of the bag to create an all-over pattern. Use different colors for the leaves; let dry completely.
