Flat cello bags, 4 x 6, $11 per box, papermart.com
- Craft knife
- Double-sided tape
Cut out cardstock to 4 x 5.5 inches. This will be the top layer with the cutout letters.
Cut contrasting cardstock to 8 x 5.5 inches, and fold in half. This will be the bottom layer.
Print (or handwrite) letters. Cut out the letters and trace onto the 4 x 5.5 piece of cardstock. (Tip: You only need to cut the outline of each letter, and not the inside of the letters.)
Using a craft knife, carefully cut out the traced letters.
On separate cardstock, cut out confetti in desired shape. (Tip: Confetti can be purchased in different shapes.)
Place confetti in cello bag and cut cello bag down to fit the size of the card. (Tip: The bottom edge of the bag should be just below the cut out text. This will ensure that the confetti is visible.)
Tape the cello bag in place, making sure to seal the top edge.
Place the double-sided tape around the edges of the cardstock, making sure that the entire border is covered.
Place this layer over the folded cardstock from step two; trim off any excess paper.
