DIY Projects & Crafts DIY Home Projects Organizational Drawer Dividers These slide-in dividers — pretty as they are practical — help to neatly store your everyday items. They can be made to fit virtually any size of container. What You'll Need Materials Drawer Craft wood Adhesive spray Fabric or ribbon Tape measure Scissors Box cutter Pencil Ruler Self-healing cutting mat or cutting board Instructions Measure the drawer's dimensions using tape measure. Measure craft wood to fit as a divider for the drawer. Using a ruler as a guide, measure and mark a straight line on the craft wood with a pencil. Lay craft wood flat on a cutting board and, again, using a ruler as a guide, cut with a box cutter. Check to ensure that the wood divider fits neatly inside the drawer, standing upright. Measure and cut a length of fabric to wrap around the divider, securing in place with adhesive. (Tip: Use a credit card to smooth out any wrinkles.) When dry, trim excess lace. Place decorated dividers in box.
