Specialty succulents have been extremely popular lately -- remember the ones that look like rabbits and jumping dolphins? Now, there's another cute species of succulent taking the internet by storm.

People are currently obsessing over "rose succulents," formally known as Greenovia Dodrentalis. These rare plants have curved leaves that make them look just like beautiful roses!

According to Gardening Know How, rose succulents top off at around six inches, making them quite small as far as houseplants go. The species is native to the Canary Islands and thrive in warm, brightly-lit locations. The source recommends watering them when the top surface of their soil is visibly dry.

Because it's a specialty species, this variety of succulent can be hard to find. Your best bet is to look for them in online shops or to purchase pups from someone who has a thriving plant.

These adorable green roses would make a great alternative to flowers on Mother's Day!
