Easter Tic-Tac-Toe Game

It's carrots vs. bunnies! Here's an Easter-themed tic-tac-toe game board that will entertain kids and adults alike.

materials

  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Illustration board
  • Cutting mat
  • X-acto knife
  • Balsa rods
  • Super glue
  • Wooden chips
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Optional: Sandpaper

steps

  1. Measure, mark, and cut the illustration board to be 12 inches x 12 inches.

  2. Cut two 12-inch balsa rods to align vertically along the board and six 4-inch balsa sticks to align horizontally; this should create nine equal squares on the board.

  3. Super-glue the balsa rods down and let dry completely.

  4. Meanwhile, paint five wooden chips with one design and five wooden chips with another. (Tip: I chose a carrot and bunny design, but you can paint other Easter-themed symbols like an Easter egg or tulips.)
