Host a Galentine’s Day Dinner Party That’s All About Elegance and Splendor

Nothing beats a sweet celebration of love. Play hostess at this glamorous Galentine's Day soirée for your best ladies — it's the perfect time to let them know just how much they mean to you.

Send Out the Invites

Co-hostesses France Park and Sherry Lee opted for a late afternoon affair. That way, their lovely guests — Amber Silver, Renee Loeuth, Kayleigh DiPaolo — could arrive in style and together, they could hit the town later.

Dress Your Best

Dress in your Galentine's best. Ask that guests don their favorite cocktail attire and sparkle so the occasion feels special. That said, dressing up doesn't have to mean sacrificing comfort! When hostessing, we love to don a midi skirt that's easy to move around in yet dressy and feminine. Ask your guests to wear cocktail attire and don't be afraid to shy away from a little sparkle! If you're playing hostess, it's always lovely to try and match your decor's color palette, too.

Serve a Homemade Spread

What's on our menu? A charcuterie plate full of choices perfect for snacking including dried fruits, nuts and olives, a light orzo salad and a rich kale and pancetta quiche require little prep time, but come together as a perfect meal. Toast one another with rosé mimosas made with pomegranate juice and fresh berries.

Set the Scene

While red roses are classic all by themselves, you can add additional elements by incorporating black magic sprays and deep burgundy carnations.

Add a Personal Detail

One way to make your guests feel extra special is by adding name cards to each place setting! You can print or hand label place cards and pop them into unique and handmade holders.

Indulge in Desserts

Sweets are a must when girlfriends get together and no Galentine's Day dinner party would be complete without chocolate! Dress up dessert by adorning your cake with rose petals and cherries and top it off with chocolate ganache. Supplement with macarons and the option of mini-individual cakes, too!

Set the Mood

Create a playlist that is upbeat yet non-distracting. Since it's a Galentine's Day party, sprinkle in girl-power anthems.
