These boozy baubles is making our Christmas list this year.
Pickering's Gin, an award-winning gin distillery in Ediburgh, is offering their hugely successful gin-filled Christmas tree baubles. In fact, the demand has been so overwhelming that the little plastic ornaments have been sold out until early December when the company is expect to release another batch of them. "They're so popular we're having to release them in stages so that production can keep up," Pickering's Gin's general manager told The Scotsman. And we can see why.
Production has jumped from 500 in 2015 to 30,000 for this year, and the company has said they plan to multiply this tenfold in 2017. The baubles hold 50 ml of gin which is roughly the equivalent of a shot and they come in different colors such as red, green, blue, purple, orange, and yellow. The price is about $37 for a six-pack.
Now, the important question: How do you get your hands on a few of these? Well, as we mentioned they are currently sold out, but if you get on the company's Ginfriends mailing list, you may be able to secure a pack or two. We can promise you your friends will be lining up to come over and help you decorate your Christmas tree this year. Cheers!
