You Have to See Martha's Halloween Costumes — Both of Them!

That spooky, blood-splattered nurse transformation is making us do a double take.

We know it's not #transformation Tuesday, but this is pretty darn perfect #marilynmonroe #halloween #costume Martha or Marilyn?

Anyone who knows Martha, knows this to be true: she loves Halloween. And there's not a single costume too frightening, too terrifying, too glamorous, or too extravagant for her to try at least once: Over the years, she's been a Ghostly Equestrienne riding her own midnight steed, a Spellbinding Sorceress glittering in gold and holding a crystal ball, a creepy-cool Black Widow with spiders crawling along her face, a fluttering Motha... shall we go on?

But admittedly, she's even outdone herself this year. This past weekend, Martha dressed up twice: once as the glamorous Marilyn Monroe and secondly as a spooky, blood-splattered nurse. (Eek!)

"Oftentimes, a party invitation determines the theme of my costume," Martha says. "Marilyn was my choice for a party, which asked for us to come as a movie character. I wanted to see how close I could look like Marilyn." And we think she looks close to perfect with her glamorous glow and coiffed blonde hair! Her glittery Hollywood look is reminiscent of Marilyn in Some Like it Hot (which also happens to be Martha's favorite Marilyn movie).

And for her spooky second costume choice? "This year, one invite was 'Prince on Prince' and I could have been Prince the artist, Richard Prince the painter, Prince anybody, or even prints," Martha says. "I chose Richard Prince's Park Avenue nurse."

And the result was perfectly spooktacular! Her makeup artist, Daisy Schwartzberg, explains how to achieve her look at home: "We used Blacktrack by MAC all over her lid, then buffed it out with a gray eyeshadow by Laura Mercier. Then, blended a red bush by MAC." She added big false lashes by Kiss. (They are the best, in Daisy's opinion!) "Then, we poured very carefully fake blood all over her face with a thin makeup brush."
