Sometimes we find wonder on the web, every so often our searches or our feed brings up moments of wild genius. The 'Pen Pineapple Apple Pen' song (PPAP) is one of them.

Sing along if you love pineapple, apple or just singing. Skip the pen part? Get your kids singing and dancing along.

This incredibly catchy ditty was created by Japanese singer-songwriter Piko-Taro, who (of course) has a YouTube channel. To add to the appeal (to magnify the confusion?), Pika-Taro is not real, he's the creation of Japanese comedian Kazuhiro Kosaka.

If you haven't seen the original video, how come? I mean Justin Bieber shared it, and even he is late to the game. It features Piko-Taro singing and fusing an apple, a pineapple and a pen, ultimately forming a Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen. It makes no sense whatsoever but who needs sense? That's why it is so magical.

Have several Pineapple Express cocktails and then try singing along?
