Rain Cloud Costume

Get ready to take the world by storm! This paper pom-pom headpiece is light as air, and stands out as a nod to Prince's "Purple Rain."

  1. Following instructions on the package, assemble 1 large and 2 medium pom-poms, fanning out the tissue all toward one side. Using the provided wire, twist them onto the center, and left and right sides of the headband so that the pom-poms lightly overlap.

  2. Punch several hearts out of cardstock; for each paper heart, score down the center and lightly fold at the crease.

  3. Using the glue gun, add a drop of glue to the inner fold of each heart and press onto the twine, creating your rain drops. (Be sure they all face the same direction!)

  4. With the folded hearts facing downward, tape the twine lengths to various spots on the lower half of the pom-pom headpiece that will frame the face.
