When choosing your magnets, make sure to use one that is super strong like a Neodymium magnet, since it will be attached to the underside of your container lid and will attract the items through the lid of your container.
- Small wood container with lid
- Neodymium magnets
Using stencil tape, tape off a continuous line along the sides and top of the lid, then the base. Apply 1-2 coats of craft paint in Pool to one side of the tape. Peel off tape and let dry completely.
Adhere another piece of stencil tape on top of the painted side, following the painted edge. Paint the opposite side in satin acrylic paint.
Adhere a stencil to the surface as a design accent. Using a dauber, apply metallic acrylic paint onto the stencil. Peel off stencil immediately and wash in warm water.
Using a hot glue gun, glue magnets to the underside of the lid or base (non-painted side); let dry before using.
