Felt Tech Case for Dad
What better way to present your Dad's shiny new tablet than inside a customized sleeve? This one can be a full family effort: you stitch it together and let the kids decorate with cut-out letters and designs.

Three materials are all you need to stitch this stylish protector for Dad's go-to tech accessory. The wool felt is soft enough to keep the screen scratch-free and the embroidered stitches are strong enough so that the sleeve's edges won't fray. Here, we paired a charcoal grey color with pops of blue and green, but personalize your own with his favorite colors.

- Felt (in various colors)
- Embroidery thread and needle
- Craft glue
To make a felt case, cut two pieces of felt measuring ¼" larger than the size of the tablet on all four sides.
To sew, use three threads of embroidery floss to blanket stitch three of the 4 sides; to end the stitch, tie a double knot between the two layers of felt.
With scraps of blue and green felt, cut out letters for the word "DAD" and glue to case; let dry.
