There's no vermouth in this sweet flavored martini. The French martini got its name because it is made with the French black raspberry liqueur Chambord and is served, like so many drinks created in New York City in the 1980s, in a v-shaped martini glass. Pineapple juice and vodka round out the ingredient list and there's a lemon twist for garnish.
