Ingredients 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon salt ½ cup (1 stick) chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves 3 tablespoons ice water Directions In a food processor, pulse the flour and salt to combine. Add the butter, and process until mixture resembles coarse meal, about 10 seconds. Add the thyme, and pulse a few times. With machine running, add the ice water through the feed tube in a slow, steady stream until the dough just holds together. Do not overmix. Turn out dough onto a clean work surface. Flatten into a disk. Wrap in plastic; chill at least 30 minutes or overnight. Rate it Print
