Clarified butter -- which we use to make our Homemade Baklava -- may be stored and refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
Cut butter into tablespoon-size pieces. Place in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook until the solids sink to the bottom of the pan, skimming any foam off the top. Pour the clear yellow liquid into a glass jar, discard the solids, and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
