All parts of the dandelion plant are edible and nutritious. Natural sweeteners are helpful in making this tonic taste a little like an old-fashioned root beer.
Add herbs to 1 quart cold water and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 15 - 20 minutes. Strain; add honey or stevia to taste. Drink 2 - 4 cups daily.
Herbs are available at natural-foods stores; use organic whenever possible.
