Yogurt with Apple and Almonds

Almonds add crunch and a touch of healthy fat to this quick and easy breakfast idea.

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, coarsely grated

  • 1 ½ cups plain low-fat yogurt

  • ¼ cup raisins

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • ¼ cup sliced almonds (toasted, if desired)

Directions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine apple, yogurt, raisins, and honey; divide between 2 serving bowls. Sprinkle with almonds, and serve immediately.
