    Perfect the first time! I've never been able to steam an artichoke properly; they're always tough and never seem to soften up no matter how much time I gave them. Tonight I followed these simple directions and enjoyed my very first perfectly steamed artichoke. Delicious! The Hollandaise sauce was also delicious, and again, so easy to make.
