Paper Pom-Pom Turkeys

Create a whole rafter of paper turkeys this Thanksgiving for an adorable (and easy!) centerpiece for your feast.

  • Detailing scissors

  • Card stock in various colors, including brown, yellow, and red

  • Glue stick

  • Hot glue gun


  1. Follow package instructions to fluff pom-poms from garland pack. You will not need ribbon for the garland, so you can save that for later crafting opportunities.

  2. Attach the base of the Starter Kit Doily Punch to the Deco Cartridge.

  3. Follow instructions to punch out doilies in various colors. Punch out one doily for every turkey you want to make.

  4. Then, punch an extra doily for the turkey feet. One doily will make feet for six turkeys. Cut the doily into six equal pieces and save to attach later.

  5. Choose a contrasting piece of colored paper and use a glue stick to attach a completed doily to it. Then cut around the edge of a the doily to give your “feathers” a contrasting surface.

  6. Cut a small head out of brown paper, a beak with yellow paper, and a gizzard with red paper. Atttach pieces to make the turkey’s face.

  7. Use the glue gun to attach the pom-pom to the full doily and backer paper. Fold in a small edge of the paper feet and use the glue gun to attach the feet to the doily. Use the glue gun to attach the turkey head to a piece of the tissue paper in the pom-pom.
