"I wake up at 4:30 or 5 every morning. I turn my iPad on and check to make sure the blog is up."
Yeah. She wakes up and works -- first thing. What is the first thing you do when you get up?
"I check my email, and I read the 'New York Times' quickly online."

Yep, you guessed it -- her bed is made every ... single ... day. "It's one of my greatest luxuries in life."
"I let the dogs out, I open the cat door, and I uncover the birds." Martha also has horses, donkeys, peacocks, and chickens that she will sometimes tend to.
"Then I pack my clothes for the day. It could be up to three outfits!"
Because you never know where the day will take you!
"I go to the gym around 6:30 a.m." Lately, it's been to do yoga. Working out in the morning can leave you invigorated to start the day.
"Then I shower, and I get in the car shortly thereafter. I usually eat something healthy like a yogurt or fruit."
