A Trip to Skylands
Every summer, I try to spend as much time as possible at Skylands, my home in Seal Harbor, Maine.
I always enjoy my trips there, especially when friends and family are able to join me.
Here I am with my Chow Chow puppy on the way to Skylands, my home in Maine. She's very comfortable on the plane - the ride lulled her right to sleep.

A Delicious Beef and Vegetable Terrine
Savory summer vegetables picked fresh from my garden are some of the best elements for making a delicious French inspired terrine.
A terrine commonly refers to a French forcemeat loaf made with coarsely chopped ingredients. I have made several terrines on my television shows - check my web site for terrine recipes.

A Farewell Brunch for Our 2015 Summer Interns
Our summer interns are off to start another year in the world of academia!
At the beginning of the season, we welcomed 48-college students from across the country into our internship program. For 10-weeks, these young adults received mentoring and hands-on experience in various areas including product design, editorial development, and business management.
Last week, our human resources team in charge of our internship program organized a farewell brunch to thank them for their hard work and to wish them well in the year ahead.
Thanks for all your hard work. We wish you all the best!
