For a refreshing, nutritious, and fast start to the day, have a smoothie for breakfast. When you blend all of an ingredient, no nutrients are left behind. That means all of the vitamins, antioxidants, and immune-boosting properties in your fruits and vegetables can be taken to-go in a delicious, sweet smoothie. Here you'll find smoothie recipes that rely on both fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables for lots of flavor and health benefits. Kids will love the vibrant colors so much that they'll want to try them, too!

Green smoothies are always touted for their health benefits but even those who are spinach-averse will find that these recipes are refreshing and delicious. For a sweet green sip that will leave you feeling great, try this Green Machine Smoothie made with spinach, tart Granny Smith apples, and creamy avocado. If you're still feeling hesitant and need some reassurance, try our Editors' Favorite Green Smoothie (have we ever steered you wrong?).

If you're playing for the tie, drink a smoothie that tastes indulgent but is actually good for you, like this pumpkin spice-inspired drink. Or take a sip from this smoothie that will remind you of your favorite tropical getaway—it features pineapple and coconut (think piña colada) plus fibrous chia seeds and non-fat, creamy Greek yogurt. For those who avoid dairy, there are delicious vegan options like this Carrot-Mango Smoothie.

Our healthy smoothie recipes include a rainbow of colors and a delicious mix of flavors. Each recipe also explains how to make a smoothie in a blender, so the only thing you need to figure out is which recipe to start with.
