These banana chocolate chip muffins! Kids of all ages will clamor for such a tasty breakfast bite. The muffins have plenty of banana and there are semisweet chocolate chips in an easy basic batter made with all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, egg, butter, and milk. Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon coarse salt ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon 3 extra-ripe bananas, mashed (1 cup) ¾ cup light brown sugar 1 stick unsalted butter, melted 1 large egg ¼ cup milk 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a standard 12-cup muffin tin with baking cups. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, whisk together banana, sugar, egg, butter, and milk. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients then stir in chocolate chips. Divide batter evenly between prepared cups, adding a scant 1/4 cup to each.
