I made my version suing about 3/4 cup coarse ground coffee (Yuban). In a quart jar, or French press, add the coffee and about 3/4 cup water. Stir to moistne the grounds, then add another cup or so of water. Mix with a spoon and then cover and set in the fridge or counter, overnight or up to 24 hours. I placed a conical coffee paper filter in a funnel, over a container, then strained the coffee from the jar through a sieve, into the filter and jar. i use a Mason jar, with a tight lid. Store in the fridge until you need it. Lasts 10 days or more and retains its delicious flavor, never bitter. I dry the coffee grounds and use them in the garden.
