As a teen, knockout Martha Stewart (nee Kostyra) embarked on a modeling career that she resumed during her Barnard college years to supplement her scholarship. During that period she even modeled for Chanel.
One highlight of her modeling experience -- before she moved on to bigger and better things, of course: She was flown to Paris (her first trip!) to model couture. "It was fun," she says. "We arrived in Paris and were put up in these French hotels in a cramped room with a great view of Paris, and we worked really, really hard."
That's just like Martha to make it look so effortless.
Justin Bieber embarked on his own modeling career around the same age.
There was Mark Wahlberg. There was Antonio Sabato, Jr. (remember him?!). And then there was Justin Bieber. In January, Justin joined the ranks of the underwear-modeling elite by posing in a Calvin Klein ad campaign alongside supermodel Lara Stone. It wasn't the first time Justin had shown off his knickers (and it certainly wasn't his last) but the pictures and video caused quite the commotion nonetheless -- even spawning its own recurring Saturday Night Live skit. Hey, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
Who do you think is the better model?
