DIY Valentine’s Day Ice Cream Bowls

Dress up your date night ice cream bowls with these charming patterns.

  • Ceramic Bowls

steps

  1. TINY PINK AND BROWN HEART PATTERN: Using stencil tape, mask of desired painting area, making sure to leave 0.7” from the lip of the bowl to ensure food safety.

  2. Using a large flat brush from your basic brush set, basecoat your ceramic bowl in Poodle Skirt satin paint. Let dry completely and add another coat as necessary.

  3. Next, using a detail brush, freehand paint tiny hearts in a random pattern with Vanilla Bean satin paint. Repeat until your desired design is complete.

  4. Once completely dry, use a craft knife to score and release your tape before removing it from your surface.

  5. NEON HEART SWISS DOT PATTERN: Using a detail brush, freehand paint hearts in a swiss dot pattern in Date Night Pink around the surface of the bowl.

  6. (Optional step) Paint one of the hearts in Yellow Gold metallic paint for an additional pop of color!

  7. GOLD ARROWS PATTERN: Using stencil tape, mask of desired painting area, making sure to leave 0.7” from the lip of the bowl to ensure food safety.

  8. Using a large flat brush from your basic brush set, basecoat your ceramic bowl in Fuchsia satin paint. Let dry completely and add another coat as necessary

  9. Next, using a detail brush, freehand paint gold arrows in a random pattern with Yellow Gold metallic paint. Repeat until your desired design is complete.

  10. Once completely dry, use a craft knife to score and release your tape before removing it from your surface.
