One of my favorite parts of the holidays is gift-giving. I just love watching the reactions of my friends and family when they unwrap their prized presents. For me, those merry moments of excitement all begin with the wrapping. Here are a few of my favorite ideas for wrapping happy holiday gifts!
Holly Surprise Ball Toppers
Wrap your package with brown kraft paper.
Cut out three large holly leaves in a shade of green. (I used my shop’s Green Color Block wrapping paper -- available here!). Fold the leaves in half lengthwise to create a 3-D effect.
Fill three ball-shaped packages with small gifts.
Wrap the balls with red crepe streamers until they are completely covered. Secure in place with a small piece of clear tape.
Place your holly leaves and berries on top of your kraft package and secure with glue or tape.
Wrap your gift with a colorful wrapping paper.
Use a glue gun to place little colored pom-poms all over your package.
Cut three large, identical triangles out of cardboard.
Tape the triangles together so that they form a pyramid shape.
Place your tree upright on top of a piece of cardboard. Trace, cut, and set aside the piece of cardboard to use as the bottom of the tree.
Fill the tree with your desired gift.
Tape your precut tree bottom to the sides of your tree to secure your gift inside.
Wrap your tree in a shade of green wrapping paper.
Wrap a piece of ribbon around the tree and add some little embellishments such as small ornaments, little drawings, or a bow.
