We love an all-out DIY, but sometimes a refresh does the trick. Revive tired-looking faux flowers by holding the hat over a steaming pot or kettle -- you can add some hibiscus tea to perk up the fragrance too.
If you’re looking to add an embellishment, you’ve got a few options. Lightweight flowers or ribbons can be sewn or affixed with a hot-glue gun, either directly to the hat (for a permanent change) or to a removable ribbon band. Heavier accoutrements should be first attached to a pin using floral tape or wire.
