Chocolate Sauce for Coconut Crunch Cake

  • cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract


  1. Bring cream and sugar almost to a boil, stirring, until sugar is dissolved. Pour over chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl. Stir until smooth, then stir in vanilla. Serve warm.
