John Leguizamo Gardens with Martha
John Leguizamo was born in Bogota, Colombia. When he was 3 years old, his family moved to Queens, New York. While in high school, a teacher of John's noticed his penchant for humor and urged him to try acting. In 1983, he began studying acting at Sylvia Leigh's Showcase Theater. That year, John was given his first chance at acting with a role in Madonna's "Borderline" video. After graduating from high school he attended New York University, and joined the comedy group Off Center Theater. Since then, his career in Hollywood has flourished with his comedic acts and appearances in such films as "Moulin Rouge" and "Romeo + Juliet." He also served as the voice of Sid in the animated hit "Ice Age." Today, he joins Martha to learn how to force amaryllis and narcissus and to discuss his new book.

Christmas Tree 101 with Chris Boteck
Chris Boteck of Crystal Spring Tree Farm joins Martha to discuss Christmas trees, as well as tips for your own tree this holiday season. Chris, one of the owners of the Pennsylvania tree farm, recently harvested a spectacular 22-foot Douglas fir tree. Declared the winner by the National Christmas Tree Growers Association, the tree was featured in the Blue Room of the White House.
