Pets can go through food so fast you sometimes wonder if they're piglets in disguise. Keeping gigantic kibble bags in stock is economical but awkward. Instead, buy a ten-gallon garbage pail from the hardware store; it will hold and keep fresh a twenty-pound bag of dry food.
