Weekend Entertaining
For the next three Fridays, Martha will show you how to prepare easy and elegant dishes perfect for weekend entertaining. Today, she makes Flatbread Topped with Mint, Feta, and Lamb, and shares some helpful information about mint. Special thanks to Gilbertie's Herb Gardens for giving mint plants to our studio audience, and to GE for giving a lucky member of our studio audience the GE Monogram Beverage Center with Liquid Crystal Window.

Jon Scieszka is a children's book author and the first national ambassador for young people's literature by the Library of Congress. A former teacher, he has written 25 books and created guysread.com, a web-based literacy program for boys. Today, he joins Martha with techniques for getting children to read. Special thanks to Jon for giving copies of his books "The Stinky Cheese Man" and "Smash! Crash!" to our studio audience. For more information on the Children's Book Council, visit cbcbooks.org.
