National Museum of the American Indian
Martha visits the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in New York and its exhibit, "Identity by Design: Tradition, Change, and Celebration in Native Women's Dresses," which includes 55 native dresses from the Plains, Plateau, and Great Basins regions and continues through September 2009. The museum, which is free and open every day except December 25, is located in the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House at 1 Bowling Green in New York City.
