Today's Guests, Products, and Services

President Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas. In 1992, he became the 42nd president of the United States. Clinton and his running mate, Tennessee Senator Al Gore, represented a new generation in American political leadership. In 1996, the Clinton-Gore team was reelected, pledging continued leadership in building the bridge to the 21st century, meeting the nation's challenges, and protecting its values. After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the mission to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. President Clinton is here to talk with Martha about his new book, "Giving." He will also talk about everyday products we can use that are not only environmentally friendly, but also cost-efficient.
