Dr. Maya Angelou
Dr. Maya Angelou is an author, poet, historian, songwriter, playwright, dancer, stage and screen producer, director, performer, singer, and civil rights activist. The list of her published works includes more than 30 titles. In 1993, Dr. Angelou wrote and delivered a poem, "On the Pulse of the Morning," at the inauguration of President Bill Clinton at his request. And in 2006, Angelou became a radio talk show host for XM Satellite Radio's "Oprah and Friends" channel. Today, Dr. Angelou joins Martha to share a poem and chat about her new book, "Letter to My Daughter," which was given to the studio audience along with "Amazing Peace: A Christmas Poem" by Random House and Random House Children's Books.

The 11 Dreamers into Doers finalists join Martha to chat about their businesses and to share their No. 1 tip for starting a business. Special thanks to Wyndham Worldwide for giving each of the finalists and the winner, Amy Jaffe Barzach, a special vacation package. The finalists also received "The Martha Rules: 10 Essentials for Achieving Success as You Start, Build, or Manage a Business."
