On Today's Show

Sir Richard Branson
British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson launched the Virgin brand in 1970 with a discount-records mail-order business. Soon after opening a record store on Oxford Street in London, Branson began Virgin Records in 1972, a recording label that went on to sign top bands such as the Sex Pistols and the Rolling Stones before being sold in 1992 to EMI. He controls a wide variety of businesses located throughout the world, including Virgin America. An adventurer, Branson has broken world records for distance and speed by boat and hot air balloon, and was awarded a knighthood in 1999 for his contribution to entrepreneurship. Today, he joins Martha to to prepare Stir-Fried Broccoli Rabe and Baby Bok Choy and to discuss his fight to stop climate change with the Clinton Global Initiative. Find out more about the Clinton Global Initiative by watching President Bill Clinton on a show from earlier this month. To join the battle against climate change, visit mycommitment.org.

Peter Arnell
Martha's friend Peter Arnell is here to talk about the history of fire extinguishers and reveal his new fire extinguisher, the HomeHero, sold exclusively at Home Depot. Special thanks to the New York City Fire Museum for providing the historical fire extinguishers seen on today's show. For more information about fire safety, visit the National Fire Protection Association at nfpa.org.
