Today's discovery is the Cleveland Botanical Garden in Ohio! Kim and Betsy will talking with Jennifer McDowell, public programs coordinator of the garden. Jennifer will discuss the garden's annual Winter Show and Blooms-to-Go program. Blooms-to-Go is a project in which they make small fresh-flower arrangements to be delivered to those in need on Thanksgiving.
- In honor of the annual "Taste of the NFL" event, we have on air Nancy Longo, chef and owner of Pierpoint Restaurant in Baltimore. She'll be representing the Baltimore Ravens! Today, she'll discuss a Baltimore specialty -- crabs with tomato-stuffed shitake mushroom tempura, served over Panang curry, corn, and sweet potato ragout.
