This sesame seed-based sauce from Michael's Genuine Food & Drink chef Michael Schwartz is a refreshing accompaniment to his Falafel.
The Martha Stewart Show, February 2011
- 1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Pinch of coarse salt
- Place all ingredients in the jar of a blender along with 1/2 cup water. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If sauce gets too thick as it sits, stir in a little more water or lemon juice to thin out.
