This drink marries bourbon and Thanksgiving's signature berry. It's strong, so you may want to add an extra tablespoon or two of water when muddling.

- 8 fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
- 1 strip (2 inches) orange zest
- 2 ounces bourbon
- Muddle cranberries, sugar, bitters, and orange zest with water in a medium glass until sugar dissolves. Pour in bourbon. Add ice cubes.
