- 1/2 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- In a small saucepan bring about 1/4 cup spring or mineral water to a boil over high heat; immediately reduce to a simmer.
- Place the matcha in a tea bowl. Pour hot water over matcha and whisk briskly with a bamboo tea whisk until a light foam has formed. Serve immediately.
