Sweet Pea Sauce

- 1 1/2 cups fresh sweet peas, blanched and shucked
- 3/4 cup homemade or low-sodium canned chicken stock
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- Place peas, chicken broth, cream, salt, and pepper in a blender and blend until smooth. In a small saucepan, heat mixture over very low heat until warm, about 2 minutes.
