Green Beans

Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon butter, (optional)
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
Directions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook green beans until crisp-tender, 4 to 6 minutes. Drain; return to pot. Toss with butter, if desired. Season with salt and pepper.
